Believes and Practices

The beliefs and practices of the faith the organisation promotes are:

• Belief in the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — as central to the Indian Orthodox Christian faith.

• Acceptance of the Nicene Creed, which outlines the core doctrines of Christianity.

• Veneration of the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the foundation for teaching and spiritual life.

• Observance of the sacraments, especially Holy Qurbana (Eucharist), Baptism, and Confession, as essential to spiritual growth and salvation.

• Celebration of religious festivals such as Easter, Christmas, and the Feast of Saints, which are deeply rooted in the liturgical calendar.

• Regular communal worship, prayer meetings, and fasting as expressions of devotion and spiritual discipline.

• Upholding the teachings and traditions of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, which is part of the Oriental Orthodox communion.

• Promoting values such as love, compassion, humility, and service to others, in accordance with Christian teachings.

• Supporting the spiritual development of children and young people through Sunday School and youth activities.

• Engaging in charitable giving and community support, including donations to local charities
